Zarvikius vs Nurbion

"It began long ago.  The Nomad and the Beast wandered through the plains of Space, watching each other, circling each other, always at a distance.  Always cautious.  The Nomad knew he had to hunt the Beast or he would starve.  The Beast knew she had to eat the Nomad for survival.  Neither moved for centuries, each fearful of the other, and hesitant." 

The year is 999.  Gyarkalithu and Ziblidu are at war.  Their respective military commanders, Dr. Zarvikius and Archmage Nurbion square off on the neutral planet Raljayu.  The consequences of this battle will plague both worlds for centuries to come.
