Venus and Mars

Venus Viridian and Mars Cinnabar, Elemental Succubi.  [Spoiler warning, posted anyway because Christmas]

Now, before all you Bible Thumpers get all indignant about my demon-mongering, allow me to explain.

Christmas is a time of peace and unity.  It is a time spent with family and friends, taking care of one another.  Christmas Dinner is symbolic because we all require nutritional sustenance, and sharing food is one of the most important reasons society was developed.  For those with the means to do so, the Holiday may also involve exchanging gifts or helping the less fortunate.

These fine ladies are family, or more precisely, the demon equivalent of sisters.  Viridian is visiting Cinnabar and her friends (the party), helping them with their endeavours and providing foster care for the Wyrmlings when the party is busy.  They dine with the party, or rather on the party's essences, but there is still a togetherness involved.  Also, Vivi is an alchemist, creating wonderful gifts for the others, and helping them make gifts for each other.  To summarize, kindness, generosity, love, and mutual win-win is the theme of this whole situation.

There.  Justified.
